Save a link you made without an account
Move a short link you created on the Qorlivo homepage into your account, keeping the exact same short link.
Last reviewed: October 1, 2026
You can shorten a URL on qorlivo.com without an account. That link works for 30 days. Saving it to an account moves the same short link into one of your workspaces, so anything you already shared keeps working, the link stops expiring, and its clicks show in your dashboard.
Before you start
- The result card you got when you made the link. Save to account is only offered there, so choose it before you close or leave that page. The proof that you made the link travels in the address you open, and Qorlivo stores only a scrambled copy of it.
- Less than 30 days since you created it. After that, it can no longer be saved.
- A Qorlivo account, or a few minutes to create one.
- Room for one more link in your plan's monthly link allowance. A saved link counts once against it.
- To save into a team workspace, you need to be its owner or an editor.
If you were already signed in when you shortened the URL, there is nothing to do: the result card says Saved to your account, and the link is already in your workspace without an expiry.
Steps
- On the result card that says This link works for 30 days, choose Save to account.
- Qorlivo opens the Save to your account page on the dashboard and shows the short link, where it goes, and the date it can be saved until.
- If you are signed out, choose Create a free account or Log in. You come back to this page afterwards.
- If you have more than one workspace, choose one in Save to workspace. The link and its clicks will belong to that workspace.
- Choose Save to followed by the workspace name.
When it works
You land on the link's detail page. The short link is exactly the same as before, it no longer expires, and new clicks are counted in your analytics.
Common problems
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No link to save | This browser has no proof for a link. You may have switched browsers or devices after choosing Save to account, or more than a day passed before you finished signing in. | If the result card is still open, choose Save to account again in that browser and finish signing in. If you closed it, the link can't be saved; create a new one from your dashboard. |
| This link can't be saved anymore | More than 30 days have passed since the link was created. | Create a new link from your dashboard. |
| This link is already saved to another account | Someone else saved it first, for example from a shared computer. | The link keeps working for them. Create a new link from your dashboard. |
| Already saved | You saved it before. | Choose Open link. |
| We couldn't find that link | The link expired and was cleaned up, was removed for breaking the content rules, or never existed. | Create a new link from your dashboard. |
| No workspace can take this link | You are not an owner or editor of any workspace you can pick. | Ask a workspace owner to make you an editor. |
| The link wasn't saved with a limit message | Your monthly link allowance is used up. | Choose See plans to upgrade, or try again after the monthly reset. |
| "Too many attempts. Try again later." | Too many save attempts in a short time. | Wait an hour and try again. |
What happens if you don't save it
Links made without an account stop working 30 days after they are created and are then deleted. Visitors see a "Link expired" or "This link leads nowhere" page.
