Share link is expired or turned off
What the share link error pages mean for visitors, and how the collection owner can send a working link.
Last reviewed: October 1, 2026
Share links let people view a private collection without an account. They end on purpose, so most of these pages mean the link is working as designed.
What you see
| Page | What it means |
|---|---|
| Share link expired | The time the owner chose (1, 7, or 30 days) has passed. |
| Share link turned off | The owner turned the link off. Anyone using it lost access right away. |
| Share link not recognized | The address is incomplete or mistyped, or the link never existed. |
| Share link used up | The link reached the number of uses its owner allowed. |
| Too many attempts | Too many share links were opened from your network. |
| We couldn't check this link | Something went wrong on our side. The link may still be fine. |
You can also see Share link expired or Share link turned off while you are already viewing a collection, if the link ends during your visit.
If you received the link
- Check that you copied the whole address. It looks like
https://www.qorlivo.com/share/.... - For Too many attempts, wait a minute and try again. For We couldn't check this link, try again in a moment.
- Otherwise, ask the person who shared it for a new link. Only they can create one.
A share link opens the collection for up to an hour at a time. If the page stops working after a while, open the share link again.
If you own the collection
Before you start
- You need to be the owner or a Manager of the collection.
- The collection's visitor access is Private or Invited people. Share links are only offered for those.
Steps
- Open the collection and choose Share.
- Under Share links, check the active links. Each shows when it stops working and how often it was opened.
- Choose a duration in Link works for, then Create share link.
- Copy the link right away and send it. It is only shown once.
When it works
The recipient opens the link and sees the collection with a note that they opened it through a share link.
